Safety in electrical testing: Servicing and repair of audio, TV and computer equipment
http://www.hse.gov.uk/pubns/eis36.pdf

Most of this is good, if rather obvious. BUT there is an inconsistency between advice to check the integrity of earthing and advice to use an isolation transformer. There is also no mention that some isolation transformers PRESERVE the earth conneccion, which rather defeats the object!

Safety in electrical testing at Work: General Guidance
http://www.hse.gov.uk/pubns/indg354.pdf

Many of the references to standards in this are out-of-date (BS 415!) or wrong (BS 61558).

PAT Testing - Myths
http://www.hse.gov.uk/myth/july.htm

This is good! There are twelve 'myths of the month' available and all are worth reading - in your own time, of course.

Safe Use of Ladders & Steps
http://www.hse.gov.uk/pubns/indg402.pdf

This is also good, except for an unfortunate use of a £10 word - 'hierarchy'. Don't be put off.
