In pursuit of the possible industry certification scheme (details to be announced at a later date), the Institute is exploring the need for companies in the industry to realise the benfits of certification to ISO 9001.
Ros has sent the following message to all members:
As part of the ISCE Certification and Training project, we would like
to ask you if your company has ISO 9001 certification, and who is your
certification body? Please could you send your responses to me by 24
February.
If you don't have ISO 9001 certification, would you be interested in
attending a short series of
ISCE workshops to guide you through the process?"
I look forward to hearing from you.
In addition you should be aware that gaining ISO900 certification can be nowhere near as costly as it's
often reported to be. The workshops would address this in depth.
