TG Baker (Sound) Ltd is a UK leading sound & communications company, specialising in emergency sound systems to BS EN 60849 in major UK stadiums, shopping centres and other commercial public buildings. We are currently seeking to fill this key position within our organisation in our Blackburn office . Reporting to the Regional Manager, the ideal applicant will have several years experience of large-scale sound systems, in particular experience with commissioning, fault-finding and programming of a range of voice alarm systems including ASL, BBC & TOA.
As with comparable industry roles, this position will entail a reasonable amount of UK travel and some unsocial hours. Salary, subject to experience IRO £25k-£30k per annum

We need a Systems Assembler for our busy Specials Department which manufactures voice evacuation rack systems.The successful candidate will build rack systems from technical drawings to meet a customer's specification. This will include mechanical assembly, rack wiring and cable forms and other tasks as directed by the Systems Co-ordinator.

Wiring experience including crimping, soldering, cable dressing, etc, is essential although training will be given. The vacancy is for a full time (37.5 hours/week) position. On completion of probation period, you will have the opportunity to elect to join the company healthcare and pension schemes.

Export Sales Manager

Baldwin Boxall is a voice evacuation and emergency voice communication system manufacturer based in Crowborough, East Sussex (baldwinboxall.co.uk).

We are looking to recruit an Export Sales Manager to generate overseas sales with new and existing clients.

Baldwin Boxall is a market leader and has numerous product ranges which are of interest to system integrators and distributors alike.

Product training will be provided.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Set up a call plan in key areas.
  • Create effective relationships with key decision makers in target organisations.
  • Negotiate prices with customers.
  • Promotion of the company abroad, attending exhibitions and travel as required.
  • Get products specified via consultancy firms.
  • Any new business opportunities to be followed up.
  • Provide quotation proposals as required.
  • Manage sales targets in specific areas.
  • Produce sales reports as required.

The candidate should have:

  • A broad knowledge of voice evacuation, not only commercially but also an understanding of product functionality.
  • Minimum five years experience of export sales in a similar market place.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • A second language would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of export paperwork a benefit.
