This role will be based from home (although the candidate will be expected to spend time at Baldwin Boxall’s head office) and will involve taking our product range into existing customers, as well as new prospects.

Full product training will be given.

Key responsibilities:

    • Deliver consistently profitable results by implementing new business strategy.
    • Create effective relationships with key decision-makers in target organisations.
    • Negotiate prices with customers.
    • Ability to promote the company.
    • Work with consultants to get the Baldwin Boxall product specified.
    • Convert proposals into profitable contracts.
    • Research and qualify prospects to activate new business opportunities.
    • Prepare and deliver creative proposals to prospective partners/clients.
    • Establish and develop effective business relationships with appropriate potential clients.
    • Understand key market factors and dynamics of the target markets.
    • Manage activity targets by setting realistic daily, weekly and monthly goals.
    • Attend trade shows when required (some overseas travel might be required).
    • Regular liaising and call planning with Sales Manager.


The preferred ideal candidate should have:

    • A broad knowledge of Voice Evacuation and EVC market.
    • A working knowledge of standards to include BS5839 and EN54.
    • An understanding of acoustics and loudspeakers.
    • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales in the Voice Evacuation/Public Address and EVC market.
    • Good communication and negotiation skills.
    • Be very confident when liaising with all suppliers and customers.

The successful applicant would preferably have experience of working with Public Address and Voice Alarm systems, although any transferable skills from other industries in communications and electronics will be considered.  On the job training would be provided for applicants deemed suitable but lack specific system experience.  We supply both in-house and external training when required.
