ISCE Members have suitable qualifications and experience, hold a responsible position and apply extensive technical, not necessarily academic, knowledge and capability.

Members of the ISCE have access to the Institute’s technical advice and resources, assisting with career development and providing day-to-day support.

Each grade of Membership of the ISCE is subject to certain qualifying criteria. This ensures our membership and our institute retains a position of technical and commercial excellence within our industries.

  • Applicants shall either hold a degree (bachelors or higher) in an appropriate technical subject and have a least three years experience and be currently engaged within the sound and communications industries.

  • Alternatively Applicants shall hold a lower degree or HND / HNC or NQF Level 5 qualification in an appropriate technical subject and have at least five years experience and be engaged in the sound and communications industries.

  • Alternatively Applicants shall satisfy Council they have equivalent technical knowledge and understanding and shall be assessed in the upgrade interview process.

Your staff will have access to CPD training and learning delivered by ISCE, ECS Sound Engineer card access, Health  Safety Training.

Those with an interest in the sound and communications industries but not working within them can apply for Associate membership.
